Change makes us feel uncomfortable, unqualified and uncertain. If you are feeling uncomfortable, you are in good company – of Joseph, Moses, Gideon, David and even Jesus. You may even feel unqualified like Moses. Uncertain like the Israelites when the Egyptians were at their tail. God works in weakness, when fear is rife and the storms are at its heights. What does 2017 look like for you? Is Church where you access the heavens, included in your plans?
On 22 January Josh Groenestyn challenged us to keep moving forward as a church in 2017. He asked us to consider the impact on the disciples in the passage John 20:19-29, to think about the changes they had seen, those that were coming, how the disciples felt and the preparation Jesus had given them. This will help us embrace the changes we need to make in our Christian lives in 2017.
