Easter Camp 2023

Easter Camp is a discipleship camp ideal for those keen to deepen their relationship with God and with other members in our church. You are invited to join us for a weekend of fellowship, spiritual refreshment, good food & recreation. You can arrive from 11am on Friday, with lunch at 1pm. We’ll finish off with lunch together on Monday before heading back home.

Lots to do

The conference centre offers lots of things to do: try the swimming pool, experience the thrill of the flying fox, take a look at nature with a bushwalk, kick a ball around the oval, challenge a friend to a game of pool, table tennis or fuze ball, or get a cuppa and sit down for a chat. The programme will have activities to suit all ages. There will be plenty of free time to chat and play during the day. We’ll have a message and discussion groups for adults and high schoolers in the morning. The children will have their own programme during this time. In the evenings primary schoolers and younger children will be off to bed about 8pm.

Accommodation

As far as possible we will try to put families with small children together. But you’ll need to tell us quickly! This will mean that not all couples will get their own room, depending on registrations. Please bring your own portacot for your baby.

Transport

The bus is available, and car pooling can be arranged if you need transport. Please let us know. A map and other information about the campsite are available on the Winmalee website.

Teenagers

If you are attending camp without a parent (14 to 18 years), you will need a permission note signed by a parent (see below). We will expect that you will be happy to join in with all activities at camp. Please note that we’ll be on-site all weekend, and there is a drink machine available, so you may need a bit of spare change.
